Hello, sweet friends! Hope you are having a wonderful weekend and enjoying the warmer weather. Here's the new Instant Garden digi that I used, and I started with a piece of plaid DP as my color palette. I colored my image and than fussed far too long before I decided on a layout (it often takes me longer to put a card together than coloring - sadly!). Anyway, I decided to use a set of dies that I bought a while ago with a mini scalloped circle, pierced inside around most of my image, and then decided to add some buttons and a piece of seam binding that I colored with a Copic marker. The tip for coloring seam binding with a Copic marker is to use a piece of plastic under the seam binding and keep coloring it until you are finished so it doesn't dry and leave "interruption marks." It works perfectly. There's an image without this sentiment inside, and I tried some other stamped sentiments that worked perfectly. But today I used the whole image.
So, sweet friends, thanks for taking a closer look at my card, and I hope you have a wonderful rest of the weekend. AND don't forget to check out the new Dirty Dozen gallery. We have two new Dirty Dozen gals and lots of beautiful cards. Here's a direct link to the gallery. I know they would love to be encouraged with your comments. It's a lot of work being on the Dirty Dozen Design Team.

Awesome design and beautifully done Cheryl. The Power Poppy digi is so pretty, as they always are. You clearly have patience my friend - piercing a circle is not easy

Another stunning card - so beautifully coloured and perfectly matched design papers. I love your trademark "stitching" border too. That flower in the pot is going to look stunning when all the other flower buds open - he he.

I would have known this is yours without even seeing who created it! That coloring, just amazing Cheryl! I love the paper you chose for this and used that as a basis for choosing colors. This is absolutely beautiful! Thanks for the tip on seam binding too!

Cheryl, this is beautiful. It might take you a while to make a card.....it shows. All your details are done to perfection. Only you would do the thread in the buttons...so nice. Thanks for the tip on doing the seam binding coloring. Fav'd
