I tried something a little different today for a 1-layer card. I created a faux panel behind the embossed flower using distress ink and pencil shading.
The flower was embossed first and water colored with white, teal and sea blue pencils. The ink was set and blended with an Aquapainter.
A framelits die was used and a teal pencil was used to trace the inside and outside of the die. The lines were softened with an Aquapainter and distress ink was added to the inside to add depth to the panel.
Tfl!

Incredulously spectacular. That teal is drop dead gorgeous. Oh how impressed I am with your one layer card. It's stunning and stands out amongst other cards I the gallery. Simply beautiful.
