I started with trying to match the colors as closely as I could. Check out this post on MY BLOG and you will see what I started with. On the green panel. I stamped Romans 8:28 scripture with black stazon. I stamped brick wall over that with UTEE. Then I ran the green through cuttlebug with an embossing folder. I used the gold metallic rub to go over the raised areas. I still felt like it needed more. So I took a new stencil (a Birthday gift from my good friend Pam along with so many other wonderful goodies) I placed the stencil down and used versamark and copper embossing powder. Then I cut the panel into 3rds. The poppies were stamped with black stazon I watercolored them. I struggled to get them red enough. Watercoloring made them look pink. I put layer after layer after layer of color to get them as dark as I could. Then I splattered the page with the red. I water colored the leaves and splattered green. To add more splatter look. I stamped the itty bitty background stamp with black stazon ink over the top. Then I did cracked glass technique on this panel. I did that technique to try and cheer up my friend Pam. This card is going to my good friend Grace. I did hand lettering on the inside of the card. If you would like to see more photos of the card, check out MY BLOG

Oh, so sweet! You really rocked these colors. I love how the green panel really showcases the poppies. So much rich, fabulous texture. Loving the cheesecloth! Headed over to your blog. And you most definitely cheered me up and I thank you.
