The colors were a struggle for me. Well....that green. I don't own a single thing remotely that color...so I did the best I could. I decided to make the hilly panel a picnic blanket and it is overlooking a field of poppies!
Now...MariLynn's BD is today and I have to say Happy Birthday to her and to thank her for helping me make it through the crazy day! I had Comcast coming out to switch internet providers AND part of my kitchen cabinetry came crashing down last night without warning. Thank goodness nobody was injured. However, one of the casualties was my nicest pair of glasses. NOT fixable. MariLynn's daughter suggested we do cracked glass today in honor of my glasses. Done deal! Thanks to Kristina!!

Be still my heart. Wow, do I love this card. Making the bg crackled was a spectacular idea, Pam. I love your fringed blanket, too. On the other hand, I am so sorry about your cabinets. I've never heard of cabinet/s falling off the wall. Oh, what a mess you must have now. Just think ... this too will pass.

So pretty and so creative, Pam. The "burlap grass stalks" are wonderful as are your DP rolling hills. The real stars, however, are your beautiful poppies. Sorry about the loss of your non-replaceable glassware, but the "cracked glass" technique was a brilliant idea. : )

I didn't hear about your glasses breaking. So sorry. Like you said, at least no one was hurt. The cracked glass technique was a good choice, and you are always a pro at that. The day couldn't have been all bad if you and MariLynn were able to craft together. I do love your beautiful bg and the lovely red poppies. :>)
