My card is for Veronica. She lost her only child. I can't imagine her sadness.
A mother's smile is like the sunshine breaking through a threatening cloud (author unknown). The yellow in my card represents the sunshine and I hope Veronica can eventually find that sunshine and a smile.
I did a watercolor wash for the background, stamped my flower twice, colored, fussy cut, and popped one over the other.

Brenda I love this bright background. The beautiful sunny flower is sure to bring a smile. Be been trying to figure what I can reach to make a card. Thanks for the inspiration, your card is beautiful, bright and cheery.

Such a tragedy. Like you, I don't know how any parent can ever get over the loss of their child. I'm going right over to that challenge so I can send her my prayers for recovery, too. Your card is lovely, Brenda. We have to hope she'll make her way safely through this journey that no one is ever prepared to go through.
