This is my card for CAS376 to make a card for a special lady. This is for a friend who always lifts me up when I'm down.
I started with black cardstock over a napkin that I had used for Faux Silk. (The butterfly was a die cut that allows the napkin underneath to show.
The butterfly shape was not showing up the way I wanted, so I added some gold embossing around the edge - which only shows up in the right light :( - and then added the cityscape to show the butterfly emerging from the city. Thanks for looking.

This is beautiful Carol -- I am sure your friend will love it. I love the gold glitter you put around the butterfly and the paper you used for the butterfly is gorgeous!!

Oh Carol, this card is an amazing array of textures and patterns. I love the napkin as the backdrop for the butterfly die cut, and the cityscape die cut is fantastic over the butterfly! Your friend will surely feel special when she receives this gem from you.

I wasn't around last week to see your gorgeous card, Carol, so I'm so glad it was picked as the fave from last week so I could follow the link this week. This is absolutely outstanding....your creativity never fails to astound me!!

...sure its got a catchy beat, but can you stamp to it?
