What a fabulous challenge. I went straight for the desert. Prior to my Misti and Chameleon Markers, I would not have attempted this - goes to show how important our tools are.
I don't know much about flowers, but think this is a Hollyhock? They do come in blue.
I embossed the frame using Spellbinders/Imperial Gold Rectangles One. Placed the 'die' on the inside so the front would be raised.
Stamped the flower and butterfly, colored and then went over all the stamping with the black Chameleon accessory pen. Stamped the sentiment. I had planned to color the raised frame in green, but decided I like it as is.
My back still hurts, so I had to create this standing at the kitchen counter - being short has its merits occasionally. Still, coloring was a little more challenging standing up. I'm happy I have a laptop that I can use on the counter - though I prefer my desktop PC.

This is so beautiful, Priscilla. The embossed frame is gorgeous and is perfect for a one-layer card. Beautiful flower and coloring too. (sorry about your back).
