This is the card I made for DH "from the cats". It incorporates a technique demonstrated in the OCC Sheer and Clear - embossing acetate an creating clear cards. It was really hard to get a decent photo.
The fantastic image was a gift from a wonderful friend who "gets" my cat obsession. I couldn't wait to use it, and had a blast making this card!
The acetate was cut and scored, and the front of the card was embossed with a Sizzix ef. All the pieces were die cut and arranged on different parts of the card - front, inside front, and inside back. The trick to making a clear card is to have duplicate pieces to cover the adhesive. For instance, the mat behind the image is adhered to the back of the card front and cover the adhesive adhering the image, and there is a large star attached to the mat that aligns with the star on the front. The same principle flows to the inside back ad the back of the card.
I added a small heart to the to the center of the small star, and coated it and the sunglasses lenses with Glossy Accents.
As always, thanks for looking!

If this image doesn't show a cat's "attitude", I don't know what else possibly could! What a creative way to make your card by making it from acetate!! Love that you embossed it and added everything front, back and inside to match up - the little heart was a cool finish to the star too - especially with the Glossy accents!!

Because of you I need to quit my job to have time to try all these great ideas. This is such a cool card. I am a huge animal lover, so a house full of cats sounds fantastic.
This is another super funny card that makes me smile. Pinned to my "ideas for cards" board .....I need to change the name of that board to "stuff I need to try before I go blind and deaf with old age".
