The Friday Free For All challenge, F4A323 (4/29/16) Dogs Are Kids, Too, was to use a dog stamp on your project. This is the second card I made for the challenge. The first one was so much fun I had to try my hand at making another.
This time I made a thank you card using a stamp from a SU set from 1999. He was sitting in my drawer of animal stamps, begging to be used, so how could I resist?
Not sure how well my photo shows the background that I did on this card. I used SU Hardwood background stamp inked up with Versamark. I intended for the card front to have a subtle watermark Woodgrain, unfortunately the Confetti Tan cardstock is too light in tone to have the Versamark show on its own. This was evident immediately, and I was able to coat the still wet ink with clear embossing powder and heat set it. I'm not totally thrilled with the glossy grain that resulted but at least it's visible!
This was a quick and easy card to create and I am pleased to have added another thank you card to my stash for later use. Thanks so much for taking the time to look. That's a thank you, straight from the heart, just as the puppy says!
