Shirley's challenge today was to use a dog on our card. This will be for my son-in-law who loves dogs. The boots a man wears says a lot about them...hard working men who keep this country strong. They can be factory workers, farmers, construction, truck drivers, etc. He is a pipefitter. Colored the image with india inks. Sponged with the walnut stain ink. It was missing something...thought of the extra shoe strings that are accumulating in a closet. Cut them to fit the card, and stained them with the ink. TFL

I am loving this sweet card. Your pup laying on Dad's boots is just adorable. Great job with the India inks, I will have to look those up to see what they are. I love that you used the shoe strings. Thank you, for playing the Free 4 All challenge today.

Oh my gosh, this card is amazing!!!! I totally forgot about this doggie image, and you have made it into a magnificent guy card. Totally LOVE the real shoelaces, they finish this card to perfection! TFS.
