This was a weeklong project as I struggled with my technique results and what to do with it. I liked it but felt that my misty fog was too gloomy looking and day by day I pondered and worked to bring it to life.
Stamped trees on wc paper using distress stains and inks, and watercolored the the bg sky area to create fog and mist. Stamped trees on vellum and die cut for overlay panel. Used desk scraps for bird and branch and edgelit dies. I've been saving my tea tags because I like the little sayings on the tags, and found this one that seemed apropo for these challenges.

Well you certainly did bring your foggy tree scene to life, it's simply beautiful! I love walking in the woods on days like that when the fog lends a stillness and the birds sound so clear. Well worth the effort, it's a beautiful card.
