The background was made a while back during a craft day with friends, we used stamping with embossing folder technique using bister (natural and blue) sprinkled on an embossing folder and then spritzed with water. The embossing folder image was transferred to the paper. It's been sitting in my stash for a while.
I loved the colours so added the wooden ornament and the Kraft text. I also sprinkled some frantage on the background to give it a little sparkle.
I'm also entering this for the Merry Monday and the Christmas card Challenge http://merrymondaychristmaschallenge.blogspot.ca/ http://christmascardchallenges.blogspot.ca/

Hey, wait just a minute here: Didn't I just leave you a comment on another Christmas card? Is april 27th a good night to make Christmas cards? Holy Smokes, Christine, you're really cranking 'em out. This is so sweet with your sentiment and your brushos. Your wooden ornament is perfect, too. Hey, I know those 'friends' you've been hanging out with....watch out. They're pretty darn talented.

Fun bg - I love the effects. It does make the perfect backdrop to a Christmas ornament. Great card. Hugz
