What a beautiful day in the neighborhood! Hope your day was as brilliant as mine with glorious breezes and beautiful sun.
Our Inspiration co-hosts this week sent us on a quick trip only a few blocks from Trafalgar Square called Temperley Square couture. I must admit two things: The first is I had sticker shock at their prices and secondly, I've never seen anyone wear anything remotely close to those designs. Guess that makes a huge statement: I'm not rotten rich nor does money grow on my trees.
Anyway, once I wiped the sweat off my brow from sticker shock, I did happen upon something I am enthralled with on a too-often basis. Kimonos just seem to have my name written all over them for some reason. Here's where today's inspiration came from: http://www.temperleylondon.com/shop/...black-mix.html
I didn't care for the black design, so I opted for a lighter color, aqua.
I'm saddened my spouse is not a huge capital venture whiz because I sure would love to spend that kind of money on something a little more appropriate for this down home kind of stamper.
Enjoy your Saturday evening. Thanks Stef and Audrie for the fun challenge.

The tone on tone of that teal color for the bg panels is wonderful! WOW..and the image is lovely. Your subtle embellishments of the pearls and the gold sticker are all you need...perfect!

And I thought a $299 bill from the plumber for replacing an outside faucet was bad!!! I'm with you on the price tags. Wow, you came up with a beautiful card in wonderful colors for this challenge. Much class and grace in its design and can hang with any I saw!

the teal background is an awesome frame for the beautiful geisha. I too get sticker shock when I check out these stores, it's so much more fun being in the zen moment making a card than dressing up in expensive clothing.

Seeing Mindy Kahling wearing one of their kimonos is what led me to their website ... I too had sticker shock, but there were so many things I actually would wear, I couldn't help but be inspired ... love your awesome inspired card.

Simply Stunning, Anne, and Way Prettier than that kimono you were inspired by! Hey, they should use your card as inspiration for designing their next outfit, and then give it to you! Then you wouldn't feel badly about your hubby not bringing home enough bacan! Beautiful design~
