This is my card for F4A322 Mother Earth, to use something that represents earth or is on it. I am always amazed by the ocean. To just say the word "ocean" never describes it. We just came back from a cruise the beginning of this month and you feel so small when you see no land ANYWHERE. There you sit in the "puddle" and I see it as "controlled stillness".
My "ocean" is my Ranger Distressed Faded Jeans ink pad dragged across the cardstock.
Controlled by the hand of God, the oceans most always stay exactly where they were put in a calmly controlled stillness or they can rage and destroy.
I prefer the stillness so this is my card.

LOVE your ocean. Neatly done, it worked so well. I have never been on a cruise and the other day was just thinking if I went, that part of being in the middle of the ocean might scare me when you can't see any land anywhere, and I agree you would so feel so small I bet. Still want to give it a try sometime so I can find out...;0)...Wonderful verse. TFS.

And you said you weren't profound!! Seems that I read that somewhere ... to me this is profound. Love the senti, your ship and the fabulous ocean. I love this. It speaks to me.

This is a super card. Love your ocean and the wonderful verse from Psalms.
Hope you enjoyed your cruise. BTW, I prefer the stillness, also.

Beautiful stillness! I, too, am amazed at looking out and seeing nothing but endless water. I was 30 before I ever saw the (Atlantic) Ocean. I took a bus trip. Then we had family who moved to NJ so we went a couple of times after that.

Very good! I love the ocean too and it's wonders...It is like God keeps His secrets from us in the deep...that is where He throws out forgiven sins anyway! I love the verse and I agree, I much prefer a quiet sea...just like life, most of us do NOT like the storms that come along!!!
Thanks for playing!

Love your beautiful scene, Carol and your ocean description is so true! Great effects with direct to paper! Your fussy cutting is so perfectly done too. The sentiment fits so beautifully!
