This isn't quite the envelope fold card, but I wanted to take a different turn on this week's sketch. Starting with an 11x4.25 sheet I folded it in half. Watched the MFT video for blueprints 16 and decided to try a flap with a notch. First layered the dsp on the card front, then ran both through with the curved flap die. Folded back and trimmed off the part that wasn't cut out by the curve. used a folded 11x 4.25 piece of crumb cake inside the limeade card so the top opens to the left and the crumb cake opens to the right. Glued the cut away right side of the first piece to the right side upper piece of the crumb cake section. Then lined up the flap and cut the notch. My description makes no sense. The video from My Favorite Things explains all. http://www.mftstamps.com/die-namics-blueprints-16
Cut out circles with Nesties. Stamped on water color paper and masked so I could add 2 more limes. Colored with markers. Stamped and cut another lime out of limeade paper. Sprayed with goosebumps then popped it up. Added twine.

Lemon tree, very pretty, and the lemon flower is sweet...
Or in this case, the lemon card is very sweet . I like your closure - though even after watching the video I'm still not quite sure how it closes. But I was interested to watch the video; I have the old SU slot punch but that little die is just so neat!!

Lovely card! The colours are so yummy looking. This is a very versatile card - I can think of several occasions that would work with this. That is such a pretty image!
