Cathy's challenge today is about Earth Day. We were to put a tree on our card. This week has been a week of making wedding cards to fill some orders. Cleaning up my craft table....took the scraps and made this card. Sorry for the bad pic, one of those cards:(. First ..deembossed the card with the die...then cut out two...one with the white paper and the other with the shiny linen. Assembled and added pearls. An after thought, this design could be used for an anniversary card for someone you would like to personalize a card. You could take the family member's birthstones and put it on the tree. TFL

Ha, gallery neighbour, both our trees have pearls! Your card is so fantastic with the embossed tree and added dimension of the die cut ones, really love the sheen and always love the added scoring on your cards!

Linda, this is amazing!! Debossing the die into the card base first is something I have done - but I've never added the die-cut on top like this. It looks really fantastic, so much depth and dimension.

Love the layering on the tree over the de-emboss and the added pearls and the pearly paper make this so elegant Linda. So beautifully done! Love the idea of adding in a birthstone as well.

Love the dimension on your gorgeous tree card, and how you offset the layers of your tree, Linda! I also like how you embossed the tree first and added the shimmery layer!
