WT580 Friends in Season

I made a beautiful card front using the Smackin' Acetate tutorial when it featured in a challenge recently. I have to say it was way nicer than this - but I botched it by trying to stamp a bird in the tree when I knew there really wasn't room for it.
So, when Cathy's WT580 ~ Plant a Tree challenge came up, I thought I'd have another go. Not as pretty as my failed one, but at least I tried. The bird is from Wild About You, not the one that comes in Season of Friendship.

Created the background with markers as per tutorial, stamped everything, added stitching lines with my tracing wheel and matted it onto green and then the card base.

I still have to try the smackin acetate technique for coloring. It is very lovely on your card and super darling bird too.

Love the way your bright red bird brings the eye down to the sentiment! Gorgeous colours on the tree. I have a tracing wheel and have never considered using it like this - fantastic idea!
