just what I love, flipping through a fashion magazine seeing unrealistic shaped models wearing out of the stratosphere priced clothes that will NEVER be seen in the community in which I live. But I DO appreciate the art of the AD's. Thanks Sabrina, for giving me another reason to flip through the latest magazine in the break room. I actually loved this Fontainebleau ad, of which I 'lifted' the shades only.
The reflection in the lenses, one in crisp focus and one out of focus spoke to me. I hope you will see the irony as well. Sometimes we have to move slightly to see the true picture (or person). The Mark Twain quote:
You cannot depend on your eyes
when your imagination is out
of focus.
I off stamped until I ran out of paper. And then used
Washi tape to mark the date. There is more fun Washi
tape running across the inside of the card.
Have a fantastically focused day, my artful friends.
Excuse me while I go clean my spectacles.

Great quote, Susan! And I was sure you would use part of an ad torn from a magazine or paper. I like this big-time. Thanks for being ad-inspired to play along today.

You sure do know how to bring an ad to life on your stunning cards! I was waiting in anticipation to see what you did on your card because you have a brilliant eye for bringing a great image from an Ad to life on a card. This one is amazing! The shades with the image - very artfully and wonderfully done.

A very cool ad card, Susan. You make the most interesting cards and they are always so fun to see. Glad my eyes are focused so I can see them...and really clear.

Well aren't u something else. Instead of remembering an ad, you cut one out. The heck with trying to remember one. Who needs that? Fun card today, Ms Susan. I love how your mind works.

Your cards are ALWAYS the most creative in any gallery in which you upload them, Susan. This is fabulous and so beautifully constructed. Way beyond just making "pretty cards".
