My card was inspired by all those weight loss ads on TV. They're relentless! As someone who's struggled with weight it's so annoying to be constantly reminded of your weight! I am so sick of Marie Osmond telling me she's lost 50 pounds and making it sound like she did it in a week! Get real Marie!

Ha.....this is so cute, Polly. That plate of food looks yummy. What a great card you made for your ads. I just saw Marie this morning on a tv morning show...slim as ever. I guess she is still on the diet.

Ha, got to laugh at her gun - has she got one of those speaking scales by any chance?? Tasty looking burger and fries and great papers!!
Someone in work today said she was giving a particular regime two weeks to see if it worked - I thought that wasn't really long enough to give it a fair chance. I'm not surprised that the Magners tasted different; if it was made in the US, the apples would be very different, and if it was exported from here or the UK - shipping doesn't do a lot of favours!! Bulmers is OK, but give me French cider any day, especially the sweeter one.

LOL, I so totally get this! Awesome use of papers, and I love the burger and fries - in real life, too, unfortunately! Terrific card!

Oh my goodness the lady holding the gun at the scale, that is fantastic! Polly this is so super fun. I am with you, it sure does not look like Marie had 50 pounds to lose on any of her before pictures and I have seen enough of her commercials. I struggle with my weight too...in the downward slope again thankfully but I don't need a celebrity to get me motivated to lose weight, I just need to get up off my bottom and get back to working out. Thank you for such a super fun card for today's challenge. Really funny!

What Lisa said! And more, this made me laugh out loud. So true what you wrote and your artful interpretation is fantastic!
And I found a "Polly" at St V's last week...a french mannequin girl from A Stamp in the Hand. I saw it and immediately thought, that looks like Polly. I can't wait to ink her up. But you know who it works...the stars must aline, Grin!

Most people can identify with that card!
As for celeb spokespeople...I dont like them. I dont believe it. It isnt just about what you eat, but what you do...and they have the money for private trainers, equipment in the house, etc. I would much rather see regular people. I mean really, Oprah and WW? Imho WW is the best plan, but come on -she has a private chef as well as trainer.

You GO girl.......I couldn't agree with you more.....and I absolutely ADORE your card. It reminds me of a cartoon I saw once where two little girls are standing next to a scale (with nobody on it) and one little girl says to the other......"we better not step on that......it makes you cry."

Think Marie lost most of her weight dancing 8 hrs/day 7days/week on "Dancing"!!....not some miracle diet. Love your card, Polly!!!....I can relate. Gave me a good laugh. LOVE your sense of humor and how you translate to your cards.
