For today's WT Challenge - Inspired by Ads. I reached way back to the early 70's and the Old spice ads on TV. Come on ladies, if you were anywhere over 16 in the early 70s you remember that gorgeous sea captain - admit it. I was cleaning out the bathroom closet about a week ago and came across an empty Old Spice bottle (just like the one seen here) that I've been keeping. They don't make 'em like this anymore - the bottles, not the men - well maybe the men.

Oh well wow, I've never seen packaging like that on Old Spice here, it was always just the regular red! Another nautical knock-out from you, Priscilla - fabulous. That boat is wonderful. And I confess I always look to see how people do their gulls, because just the plain unadorned ones never look quite right to me. Your black-winged gull is just like the ones I was feeding old bread to this morning!!

Fabulous card, Priscilla. I love all the wonderful die cuts you used. Love the Old Spice bottle and it has an awesome scent...to me, anyway.

OH heck yes I so remember the stunning sea captain on those old spice ads...super die cuts you used to represent that wonderful old commercial too! Thankfully I was not over 16 in the 70s but I sure remember the old spice and I so remember asking my mom to get old spice for my dad for Christmas because of the commercials. Nicely done on your card.

My dad wore Old Spice back in the day (and he was as handsome as the captain IMO), so this brings back a lot of memories. Your ship die cut is perfect; this is a great inspired card!

I knew exactly what product you where going to pick! My dad used to love Old Spice so whenever I smell the cologne it reminds me of dad! Good memories! Great card!

You really know how to make a nautical card, Love the simplicity and it is perfect for Old Spice!!! I like the way you added color to the die cut, especially on the sails!
