This card is for today's two challenges: TLC581, Fancy Piercing, and CAS372, Love the Chips. Judy (StampingQueenJAR) hosted the TLC581 challenge which is to create fancy paper piercing. Holly (hbrown) hosted the CAS372 challenge that involves using chipboard. Both were great challenges, Ladies!!
For TLC581, I hand pierced around the flowers and vase. For CAS372, I made the vase from white chipboard that I cut three of and glued together as the chipboard was not a thick as I wanted.
I decided I would try for a second time to use Brushos. For some odd reason, it was easier this time. I used them to create the background behind the flowers. I angled the application so the paper piercing would show on the bottom portion of the card. My sentiment is from ODBD Quilted With Love.
I hope you enjoy and TFL!
Bev

Bev this is so pretty and who wouldn't want to received a bouquet of cheer like this! I like the diagonal application of the brushos...they do take practice ..I'm still learning how to work with those.

So pretty, Bev. Great 2nd attempt at using those brushos. I think you've got the hang of it now. Love the line delineating the paint from the white, too. Those are some great flowers you've added to your gorgeous bg.

This is beautiful! I love sunflowers, love the splatter background and how it looks like you taped it off. What is brusho? What is in the center of the sunflowers, looks amazing, like tactile?
