I used a stencil as my pattern for the paper pierced bg. It's kind of swirly design. The chipboard hearts weren't the right color so I painted those with acrylic paint. That's about it! TFL!

Marvelous card, Polly! Love the layout and the vivid colors. The stencil worked great as a piercing template. I'll have to look at mine to see if any will work.
