I had a delightful time wandering through The Cake Blog this morning with my coffee. I picked my inspiration piece(s) and had to go out, and all the while I pondered which one to do. I finally settled on this:
These colours have me yearning for sunshine and seeing as it is snowing here, I wanted sunshine on my card. I first embossed my card base front with the roses embossing folder. I then inked my stamp with the Mustard Seed and Wild Honey and spritzed with water before stamping with my "MISTI" - (new to me); I then applied extra ink with my aqua brush. I attached the panel to fun foam just because it was easier to do then mounting tape and the whole back of the watercolour panel is covered. For the flower I put down the 2 colours on my craft mat and spritzed lightly then dragged my flower through the ink, and again used my aqua brush to pick up extra amounts of colour and applied between drying a few times. I styled my flower for attaching, then sprayed heavily with Glimmer Mist - IRL I love the look. I then attached my sentiment and sequins.
