I used a wedge sponge to smear victorian velvet DS onto the paper. Stamped feather 2x without reinking with crushed corduroy DS. Stamped quote with vintage photo ink. I mixed crushed corduroy with capuccino perfect pearls and splattered onto paper. I stamped the bird with walnut distress ink above quote and 3x on various scraps to cut pieces, body, wing and beak. I used my sleigh ride edgelit die to create the wavy edges. I touched up the bird with the black pen I smudged the ink away due to handling.
My first time paper piecing, it was FUN!
