I needed a card to send to someone who has, we all hope and pray, finally come out the far side of a bad depression and is back at home again - so I made this for her and for the current ODBD Recipe Challenge.
O - ODBD stamp
D - Dazzling Diamond border die
B -Brushos and a bow
D - Diamond Glaze
I stamped the image and coloured it with Couleur d'Art pencils, adding Diamond Glaze and some loose glitter to the large lettering. Cut the border, scored along it and sponged with Antique Linen, then added some splatters with Gorgeous Grunge because it's more dependable than spattering ;-).
For the background, I used textured acrylic paper which might be hard to see, and added several different colours of Brusho, drying between each layer. Then I added some chunky EP. The sentiment panel is stitched to the base layer, and then I wove some seam binding through the border, and added little flecks of gold Stickles.

Oh, Sabrina, this is so beautiful! What a perfect scripture of hope for your friend!! Love the stitching down the side and the touches of gold which look great against the background colors!

I am with Angie - took notice immediately of the same things - the Brusho background and that awesome stitching. This will surely bring a message of hope to your friend, and I will add her to my prayers as well!

I have to check your gallery every few days to see what I have missed. This card, Sabrina, is truely spectacular, and conveys such a feeling of energy and hope. It is perfect for your friend...she just needs to look at it to feel inspired. I pinned it to my mixed media board. I love all of your work, but this one is over the top gorgeous.
