I'm so happy to be guesting this month with the fabulous Color Challenge Team! So I'm using colors as close as I could get to the chosen colors & since the dessert is animals, I hope stuffed animals will work!
After putting the cute Teddy Friends into my Misti, I stamped them w/ Memento, colored them w/ Copics the over stamped w/ Versafine. I wanted them to be in sort of a window, so I did a little out of the box technique when I die cut them w/ one of the matting basics. The larger mossy colored layer was first die cut w/ a larger matting basic die then I used the IO grid die to cut the right side & lower edges. Since the die is a bit longer than my panel, I had to cut to the mid point, turn it around, move the die down then cut the opposite edge I added the pool layer behind the grid & added some of the die cut squares back into the grid in a random pattern. The Get Well was die cut once in pink & once in green & stacked offset.
Thanks so much for looking! Closeups & Copic colors are on my blog: The Write Stuff

Absolutely GORGEOUS!! Those teddy bears look so 3-D, and they are colored beautifully! The grid background is remarkable! Julie, I have yet to see a piece of your artwork that I didn't love. You are a marvelous artist! Congrats on guesting for the Color Challenge Team!
