I wanted a bright and cheerful card to send someone, and revisited an old tutorial - Cami's Trifold Card.
To tell the truth - I had cut the card base from a really lovely pink striped card which was a bit heavier than this, but I wasn't concentrating and I cut the window in the wrong panel. And I'd already coloured the flower vase to match that paper...so I went trawling through my supply of reasonably heavy-weight 12" papers and found this, which will have to do as an also-ran. This time I cut the window in the right section. To help hold the white frame in place, I cut shutters and a little valance , and they hold the frame in at the back (inside) of the card. I wasn't going to bother with ribbon, but since it's going to someone with cancer I decided to add a little snippet of pink ribbon, and used an eyelet to reinforce the hole I punched in the little tab.

Bright and cheerful - no contest on nailing that aspect for this encouraging card for your friend - you ended up landing on your feet, succeeding, even in face of all the mishaps on the way!! Great card!
