oh, Audrie...to open the IC today and see 'Seaweed Kisses'...what an absolute delight. Michelle hits on so many of my loves as well! In fact, all my unfinished journals scattered around my abode whisper my name every now and then...GUILTY.
I have to admit up front this piece was not begun for the IC today. But it was finished because of it. My concept (written in one of those journals involved a merman coming to call) on a bubble blowing mermaid. Michelle's Vision Board reminded me I needed to send the merman out.
This was amazing fun to create. So I am thankful Audrie for inspiring me to get my piece finished today. I am hoping you'll let NO one burst your bubble!
Thanks so much for having a look. And your comments, always inspire me.

OOOO such an intriguing piece! I'm glad you finished it today. How cool to have a merman among the bubbles..I love all the texture on this, real and perceived..I like how you stamped the netting behind the figure and the bubbles and shells in the water. Awesome piece Susan!

this is so unique, original, creative, eyecatching.....LOVE the effect you created in the background and the fabulous bubbliciousness of the whole creation.....AND I just love the sentiment......is that actually a stamp or is it computer generated......amazing art work, my friend

Well, now, Susan, I'm not crazy about ocean depths, but I wouldn't mind a bit if someone like HIM was going to come callin', and with flowers, no less! Your background is amazing, and the sentiment? Words to live by!
Hugs!

Only you would think of "merman" where the rest of us would automatically go to the ever-popular "mermaid", Susan. You are definitely a lateral thinker. Love it. Outstanding card done with your creative techniques.
