One of my four Christmas cards for the March challenge - Christmas village, including, doors, windows, houses.
This image is a free sample page from Dover Publishing. I resized it before printing it on a laser printer, which allowed me to choose to color with either pencils or markers. Because of so many small spaces, I chose pencils. And proceeded to use up almost an entire day coloring an A2 sized image!
After the coloring was finished, I misted the image liberally with a frost Shimmer Spritz. I let it dry and then applied white gel pen to all of the snowflakes. The image was die cut, matted with black glitter paper and attached to the card front. The sentiment was cut from the same glitter paper and adhered with Ranger MM matte.
As always, thanks for looking!

You never tackle easy cards! The coloring- just amazing and way more than I'd be willing to do. It's gorgeous! There is so much going on in the image that I keep going back to look at it. Beautiful card!

Admittedly, this is a great wintertime scene, Jody. It's colored to perfection, but, then again, when aren't your cards colored to perfection? Perfect card and one that looks like so much time went into coloring it. Hope it goes to a very special person. Lovely work, Jody.

LOVE this card, Jody. It has the Old World charm of some of the Christmas/New Year's cards we receive from distant relatives in Belgium. You did BEAUTIFUL work in coloring the scene. Your pencil work is incredible!
