Thanks Sabrina for an easy peasy challenge today. My brain needs that today. And to the sample makers, your examples inspiring. Robin, girl...you created the best Spring flowering trees!
This card is dedicated to the MIX164: Celebrate Spring!
dizzymommie...I had happy shopping mail this week because of 'your introduction to my new fav Mixed Media artist'. Nathalie Kalbach. It was your Fashion Dame I was drawn too...which led me down the rabbit hole over the big pond to Germany where Nathalie lives. Lucky for me that Stampendous has licensed her images...
And so I am back to my hinge fold card for Sabrina's TLC579. I used a stencil to add depth to the bg. Walnut ink in Lilac and Tattered Angels 'Jack o Latern' were sprayed directly to my cs. The foam stamp from the 'City' set was inked with the Memento Luxe (LUV that ink pad) and applied over the short front fold and onto the insides. Once dry, I stamped the city over the top of the silhouette inked in Brilliance 'White'.
I used Memento Luxe 'Love Letters' to stamp the Circus flyer. It is clipped to the fold which helps to hold it down.
It is a circus out there...better get your juggling sticks or tutu ready. Have a superb week out there my friends. And thanks so much for stopping by. Your comments inspire me.
PS: Janelle, your Fashion Dame card was so very well done. I can't wait to fashion something cool for her. Gotta luv shopping vicariously, right????

The gridded background goes so well with your city skyline, Susan. It reminds me very much of a favourite childhood picture book which had that muted colour palette and a toucan journeying from his jungle to the big city.

Circus or Zoo take you pick! That is what it's like out there!
Love the grid background and the muted colors you used for the BG. The city scape is awesome. Great card!
