Dr. Sonja challenged us to use a heat technique to make our card. So I decided to use Soot Stamping. I haven't done this for years and thought it would be fun to give it a go again. You can find the technique here: Colored Soot Stamping Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers
I used some die cut frames to highlight the pretty results.

Wow - that was deep in the archives - 2008! An oldie but goodie with a rich deep presentation. Thanks for playing in my challenge.

Oh, ha, I wish you'd been playing along when I set foot stamping itself as a challenge a few years back...I think maybe 3 or 4 people were brave enough to try it, including hostesses. And it is a fabulous look, I've used it sometimes for masculine cards. Well done you, Pat, for using such a great heat technique and making such a beautiful card with it.

I love your card! Personally, I hear the words, "Don't try this at home unless you have adult supervision." I'm sure my paper would catch fire, and then the panic would set in. You did an awesome job!
