I just had to upload another card for the Mixed Media challenge today. After seeing Maura (beesmom) use this color layering stamp, I just had to order it. Love it!
I stamped the branch, then leaves, next the bird and then the feet/legs.
The border was made using Frog Tape for masking. I love that item and found out about it on Lydia's (UnderstandBlue) blog. She has the best tips. No seepage of colors when using it.
I used both Distress Stains and Distress Inks on the bird and Stain for the border.

I am speechless, Brenda, which is a fairly rare thing for me. Your card is gorgeous. Beautiful colors, beautiful image and incredibly beautiful design.

So pretty, Brenda! Love your w/c looking strip. Frog tape? Hmm...Great title for your card..I heard a mockingbird today just going to town. I kept thinking, breathe, bird!
