I have been testing a printer for Epson that will print on cardstock and thicker mediums, including canvas.
My grandmother passed away over the winter, and I received a stack of recipes from her collection. I was very close to my grandma, and this recipe for Peanut Butter Balls can never be forgotten. They were her holiday trademark. She made tins of candy for all of her closest friends, neighbors and family.
I wanted to add some decor projects to the gallery for this printer feature, and I have wanted to frame a print of her recipe for my kitchen for quite a while. I scanned her handwritten recipe to my computer, and then I printed it on 110# Cold Press Watercolor paper with the Epson SureColor P600 printer. The printer handled the thicker medium with ease. Very happy with how it turned out.
The frame was a $2.49 Goodwill find this past weekend in Dallas. I had a chalk paint kit that I purchased almost a year ago, and it was so easy to paint and distress this, I'm wondering why I waited so long! Now I need to paint more things!
