So,... I put this one off till today because, I kept looking at the list thinking these are not new ones for me. ( I've probably tried most things at least once ) but, this is one that I have done once before and I loved it and I just never make time to haul the copper to the garage to steal a torch... so, this time around I worked smarter than I did the first time I tried this, the first time I die cut the pieces first and held them with tweezers to heat them. ( yeah seriously) ( was trying not to waste the metal) (rolling eyes here) SO, this time I whacked off a piece 7 inches long and heat the whole sheet and then cut the flower. ( much better) I used this scrap of corrugate under it to stabilize it for mailing. so, the edge of the sentiment has pop dots under it.
Sonja, thanks for this challenge & tfl.

WOW- isn't is amazing what a little heat will do? And you didn't have to burn your fingers holding it in the fire with the tweezers! This is really classy and the teardrop shape absolutely sets off the stiff tulips. Love it and I'm sure your sassy friend will, too! Thanks for playing in my challenge.

Ha, I so identify with trying to save the metal! I've done the same - but I have a crocodile clip on a wooden handle, so at least it doesn't conduct heat . It looks fabulous - even more so on that corrugated strip which adds rough texture to contrast with the smooth metal.
