We are made for Sunny Days as Misti challenged us at the March VSN. I vote for warmer sunny days, too. Living in the PNW, we just do it no matter the weather...but I admit the sunshine definitely puts a smile on my face. Thanks Misti.
I've been using my stash a lot for these challenges and when I came across this cool panel from the Paper Studio 'Chalkboard Inspiration' I thought of swimming. Out came the box of unmounted Stamp Francisco images. Don't these bathing beauties remind you of fun times. I paper pieced the aqua swimsuit and used a distress marker in an orange for the diving girl. Both were fussy cut. I managed to extend the banner by overstepping the pennant from Stampin' Up 'Ray of Sunshine' set. Added [5] count them, 5 shimmery orange sequins.
I'd love to hear about your pool party memories. My fondest is hanging out with girlfriends, a bottle of Baby Oil with iodine for tanning our skin (oh, do I see the evidence of this now), and the song 'double shot of my baby's love'.

Stashes are crucial for challenges and I love how you've used yours. Great pool party card.
I have the same memories of slathering on the baby oil to get a tan. It never worked for me. I can blame it on our PNW summers or on my pale skin!! My girl friends had lovely golden skin and I'd burn and fade. Didn't take me long to give up on that one. I was too impatient to lay in the sun long enough.

The orange and aqua are just fab against the chalkboard background. I hope the gal in orange isn't doing to do a belly flop - ouch.
Most of my memories are seaside - pools mean chlorine to me, and I hate the restriction of swimming lengths after learning in the sea and being able to swim as far as I thought I could.

Memories are the best, can't say I got to a pool very often. But one of my girlfriends family had one and we loved to sit and relax in the warm afternoon sun! That is until all her brothers jumped into the pool!
Wonderful card that sparks loads of memories with its bathing beauties!
