Here is my entry for APRVSBNL. Hope I did it right!!
Journaling reads:
I don't know when it is exactly that the innocence of childhood leaves us. But I do know that it isn't there for long. When I see these pictures of myself it reminds me of a time when everything seemed wonderful, easy, and good. I didn't know the ugly side of the world. I only knew that I had a Mom and a Dad that loved and cared for me. I wasn't aware that lurking around the corner was pain, heartache, and disappointment. But a child shouldn't know these things. They should be kept innocent and happy for as long as is allowed. They shouldn't be made to deal withthings that cause this innocence that is so fleeting to begin with to leave prematurely.
I feel like I had a good childhood. I feel that I was innocent for as long as I was supposed to be. I will always look on these photos and remember when life was easy, good, and fun. I will remember these times because it is those that get us through the hardest ones as adults. I will cling to them in hopes that my children will also enjoy their childhood and take away from it as much as I did mine.

*WOW*. I am still sitting here stunned by your journaling... Probably as much by what is unsaid by what is said...But nonetheless the reverberations of what is said. I am just in *AWE*!! This is such a *PHENOMENAL* page. The use of so many different patterned papers suggests several "fractures" of innocence as eluded to in your journaling. The circle of the metal flower brads suggests a strong bond (a *GREAT* use of flowers, BTW!) The b/w photos suggest a drama of a deeply personal nature. The vellum denotes a thin veil of something barely hidden under the surface... I absolutely *LOVE* this layout....and feel that for you to share it with us was something deeply personal and heartfelt. Thank you for doing such **BEAUTIFUL** work!! ~ Kaylyn
