Hello, my sweet and dear friends! I have missed you and first have to say that I continue to be overwhelmed with the wonderful kindness shown me by the Teapotters since March 1 and the many other wonderful friends on SCS who have sent me cards of encouragement! Have I told you how much I love SCS and all the wonderful friends here? I do! And I hope you will see this card as a bit of deep appreciation for how much you've touched my heart with your warmth and love! Thank you!
I was so happy to be able to color again and join in for today's Instant Garden release by Power Poppy, and I so love these flowers! And I've learned about a new flower - the checkered lily! And it really is checkered! I had such fun and relaxation coloring this amazing image, and it is a lot of coloring. But it was such a delight after finding images of each one. After I finished coloring it, I fussed around with what to do about a layout and finally just matted it with Strawberry Slush and used one of my favorite Martha Stewart border punches - keeping it very simple. So that's it for this card, and I sure hope I can make another one soon. We had our youngest son here last week and also found out that my DH needs a knee replacement (and will most likely have the other one done a month later). But we believe he is going to feel lots better once he completely heals. So we are quite the pair the last couple of years with going to doctors! But God is so good and has provided us with such wonderful doctors!
So thank you so much for taking a closer look, and I hope you have a great week! Stop by my blog for more details. Big hugs, sweet friends!

Cheryl this card is just amazing. Your coloring is perfection, it even looks like that little bee will fly right off the page. Your color choices are gorgeous. All in all a beautiful work of art. Linda

WOW, Cheryl! Not only is it great to see you creating but this is truly a work of art! I'll say- it IS a lot of coloring, all perfectly shaded! Your work always is. Your shadowing is so perfectly done it appears to be airbrushed. Gorgeous work!

This is wonderful - just love you pretty bouquet of spring flowers. They are beautifully coloured and I understand what you say about finding colouring so peaceful and relaxing. I planted out three bleeding heart plants in the garden last winter - and they flowered so nicely in spring spring. It was good to see a card by you again in the gallery. So very happy to see that you have inky fingers again.

The trailing hearts, the butterfly and the bumble bee are all alive in your exquisitely coloured card, you must have had such a lot of pleasure making this card Cheryl. I read your comments, my friend's husband had his knee replaced about 3 weeks ago and he's walking quite well now, best wishes dear friend from across the pond, Kim.

Cheryl, you have created another masterpiece. I didn't know about checkered lilies. I love those bleeding hearts, also. I'm sorry hubby needs knee replacement. He knows you will give him much tender, loving care just as he has you. You're both in my prayers and think of you often.
