For today's color challenge 'Crisp Sahara Cake'. The feathers are each cut in one of this week's colors. I used alcohol pens to darken the edges and center veins of the feathers, then added black dots. The white focal mat was embossed in the die, then randomly stenciled with distress inks. Cut a crumb cake button and threaded with floss. Cut the sentiment from Crumb Cake and Cantaloupe and shadowed. Cut Crumb Cake and Cantaloupe mats. Assembled all the pieces onto a white base.

I love that dotted chevron bg!! Stenciling randomly was the perfect idea....some added color. Great texture!
