For Lisa's Sunny Boat to Paradise MAR16VSNM challenge.
I've been wanting to try Karen Dunbrook's woodgrain method and this was the perfect chance to create my cabin paneling. I'm amazed at how easy it was and how well it worked! I'm adding my to this week's mixed media challenge too.
I die cut the window frame twice and mounted acetate between frames. Stamped and colored the lake image, trimmed to fit window and adhered to paneling. Stamped, colored and fussy cut fishing pole and adhered to edge of card. I'm so ready to be there!
Hope you're playing along, all the challenges can be found HERE

This is a new technique to me - what great results, looks just like sun bleached boards on a lakeside cabin.

That wooden panelling is fabulous looking - it reminds me of one of the holiday cottages we spent a few summers in. And the little lake scene tucked behind the windows is so peaceful looking. You're rocking different ways of using acetate!!
