Audrie chose another wonderful site for inspiration this week -Paintings for Ants by Lorraine Loots. In the end I chose this for my inspiration - Forums at Splitcoaststampers
I went for a CAS design and created my little scene using dp. I sponged the sea by using all the above inkpads and white gesso. After using the gesso and making it too pale (!!) I went back over and sponged some more! I then added the ripples with a white gel pen, and the adirondack chair was a RAK from dear Sallie. Both top layers are raised, using dimensionals. No sentiment - I wanted to keep the rest of the card completely clean - but may add one when I know the recipient.

Just wish I was there - catching the sea breeze - after a couple of very hot days here. The beach would be nice - but I am afraid it is a two hour drive away so I will have to make do with this view of the sea. Very restful card.

This is Beautiful, Sue! It looks like a chair on a ship where someone could be enjoying the ocean breezes while sipping on a cool drink! Brings back some warm memories~
