I could not believe this week is national pet sitters week. Tomorrow morning I am on my way to Charleston, SC to pet sit my son's 3 dogs. How fun to know I'm actually supporting this wonderful endeavor to pet sit!
I have a tremendous love of Saint Bernard's so this is how I ended up with this image. apparently, when I see saints I have total capacity to forget all the slobber I used to have to clean off the ceilings and then I seemed to have forgotten how our saint actually pushed the AC unit off it's concrete slab one summer. Oh, the fun of owning a saint.
Since I made a huge mistake with stamping my sentiment on the base, I had to add a panel to cover it up.
Here's to all the dog lovers and pet sitters today! We rock!

Oh my, Anne! These were my favourites dogs when I was little - I think it was the barrel, mind you. What an absolutely adorable CAS card, it's put a big smile on my face on a dreary rainy afternoon.

Love your fun card- you are the saint- babysitting the dogs! We just returned from a week away and I made a card for my niece and sisters family-who watched my dog. I will have to get inky and make another dog themed card today!

Very clever how you covered up your sentiment. I love it when we have to think outside the box on our cards. What an adorable Saint and I love your story of your Saint. They are stunning dogs oh how I would love to cuddle up with one and squeeze on him. So glad you are going to be supporting the pet sitters week. How fun!

Very fun image of that sweet Saint Bernard! I have childhood memories of our neighbors big St. Bernard named Bernie running down the snowy hills with us as we were on on sleds!

My son's GF in college had two St. B's.....and though they were big and goofy and lovable, the drool was a bit much. He and his wife are content with a parti-colored cocker named Charlotte. She is sweet tempered and adorable, and NO slobber. More to my liking. Your puppy is colored beautifully, and I had to laugh at your stamping mistake..........we all do that. that's why we make frames, and add embellishments! Have fun pet-sitting.

This is such an adorable image - and I love the little heart button!
