Maura is this week's Color Challenge hostess. Her colors, Real Red, Marina Mist, Pacific Point and Wild Wasabi, reminded me of aprons and kitchen towels from the 50s, especially when she added ribbon as dessert. I have the pleasure of being a guest designer this month and knew I had the perfect papers for a little taste of retro!
I cut patterned paper and red with a scallop die and layered the strips. Cut tag on Slice, stamped sentiment. Stamped apron on pp, colored trim with gel pen, fussy cut, mounted on tag and added ribbon for trim. TFL
Come play along, we'd love to see your creations!

Sweet apron! My granddaughter the Bakery Chef has a bunch of aprons, but they are all white,, like her chef coat. I happen to prefer pretty colored ones myself.........I have LOADS of them, but just spatter on my clothes!! Think I could learn to use my aprons?

Luvin' your retro style! Aprons were such a good idea - don't know why we don't still use them - perhaps more practical ones than the pretty frilly one on your card.

What's an adorable vintage cars. I always loved the patterns, aprons, and the old clothespin holder bags. Your card bought back a ton of happy memories for me. Thanks for the walk down memory lane.
