I am your hostess this week and I have chosen Real Red, Wild Wasabi, Pacific Point and Marina Mist, and for dessert: twine, ribbon or floss
This is my first of 2 cards for this challenge. I am LOVING this Beautiful Day stamp set, and I think someone is going to have to rip it out of my hands in order to get me to stop using it!! Hope you are not getting tired of it (I promise I will stop soonÂ…)
Since it is layered stamping, I used colors in the spectrum that would produce the specific colors in their overall look (sometimes I did it through “stamping off” first, too). Used masking and a combination of double and triple stamping (leaves and the red flower) and copic colors on all the little flowers. I used black enamel accents for the black stamen. Stamped sentiment, added sequins. Popped up the main panel. No dessert on this card.
Come and join in the challenge – you may be our next favorite!!

This card is spectacular! I sure hope we don't all get tired of the Beautiful Day set, because I'm thinking of using it next week! I love the way you masked and added the little blue flowers, and the sequins are just perfect--colors and placement!

Maura, this is such a beautiful card. Every aspect of your flower is colored to perfection. Definitely outshines anything I could find in the card section of any retailer. Just wonderful.
