This was made for the Mixability Challenge - Wildlife adventure, and required the use of animal / animal print, and texture.
I started with the animal print paper and then found a coordinating base card, and a paper to emboss. I didn't have any wild animal stamps other than birds, so I dug thru some of my other stuff and found this lion. He was in my decoupage drawer, and is actually a napkin! I pulled out the modge podge and decoupaged him to a piece of white card stock & then sprinkled a little pale yellow glitter on top. When he dried, I cut him out.
The sentiment seemed perfect for the challenge & it is stamped in Merlot pigment ink and embossed with clear embossing powder. The top and bottom edges were cut with edge shaping scissors (I don't know what they are really called). At the very end I added the little orange sequins.

What a fab napkin that must have been! I have a few that I have saved for using on cards - and never done anything with. I'm glad you had him tucked away all ready to get wild for the challenge.
