Hi, Well, you all probably know that I don't do CAS (not really anyway). Yes, I know CAS lovers, but everyone is different...different not wrong, right? Everyone sees beauty in art differently, don't yell at me through your screens!!
So anyway, I did some scoring with a wavy Creative Memories cutter and a stylist (Brenda-Tessaduck's idea) and some splattering with gray paint for my bg along with the corner die all for some texture. The branches are gray even though they look black and the Prills in the flower centers are gray as well. My vase is cut from an embossed silver envelope (came with a pretty card my hubby gave me), now you know I DO keep everything!!
I got my inspiration here
I don't really like this card but hoping someone else will.

Well, Robin, for someone who doesn't do CAS, you could have fooled me on this one - Great job, so many lovely elements but they all work together to present a CAS look - just lovely (I especially like the embossed vase!). Faved!

Robin, with respect, you're crazy. Not because you don't do CAS.....I totally agree that everyone's tastes are different (thank goodness!) But because you can't see the beauty in your card. It is sleek, elegant, classy and totally gorgeous (not to mention an awesome take on your inspiration piece). I can guarantee you if I tried creating art like yours, it would come out looking like something a 2-year old did....lol!! TFS!
