PTI has been offering some images already printed on watercolor paper which come in very handy. I wanted to try Lexi Daly's rubber cement technique from this week's "Make-It-Monday". I brushed on the rubber cement rather than drizzling it since I wanted a subtler background for the flowers. The bg was done first and then I watercolored the image.

Putting rubber cement on my list to get - this turned out so amazing! a very subtle yet gorgeous background to show off those beautiful peonies - thanks for the great memory - my Mom had a BUNCH of peony bushes out by our back door that I always loved!!

gorgeous!! brushing the rubber cement was such a good idea here - it has the look of a perfectly worn cement garden wall behind the flowers. thanks for playing make it monday!
