Using Ally's sketch more as a guide, the banners were narrowed and the circle changed to a rectangle and offset(think of the rectangle as a more masculine shape than a circle). This is a b'day card for a guy who crafts his own beer. Included "masculine" textures of the wood grain, cork and burlap. The mugs were colored with Copics and clear embossed.

Looking at the sketch and your card ... I can tell what you were drinking!!!! LOL What a fun interpretation of today's sketch. What a great masculine card. Pinned!

I have this set and use it for guy birthdays as well though my cards go to those who use the product not make it! Love the textures you've used. The twine, button, and burlap band looks particularly wonderful!

And a swell guy card, Sallie! I like your take on the challenge...with all the masculine elements in place.
Let me know if you'd like me to pick up a bottle of 'Beard Beer' from Rogue for your home brew birthday guy, wink. Strange but true. DS and I debated it at our local brewpub Sunday. We passed.
