What beautiful Spring colors, Barbara! Welcome to my wing building party...the dragonflies are practicing their flight patterns...
When I saw the colors, I couldn't help but think of Basic Grey's 'Wisteria' patterened paper. I needed an encouragement card for someone at work today. And the Hampton Art Stamp 'sometimes you have to take the LEAP and build your WINGS on the way down'.
I think this will just do the trick and build a little confidence.
The sentiment is stamped with Stazon onto recycled acetate packaging...I used various snippets of trims for the fussy bit at the top of the tag. The wings are also cut and embossed from the base of the patterned paper to give dimension. And a bit of sparkles on the bodies.
Thanks so much for stopping by...my camera couldn't handle all the sunshine shining through my Oregon windows this morning, I apologize for the dark shot.

Love how you cut the wings and folded them up off the paper Susan - what a great cluster of ribbons at the top too - I'm sure this card will be appreciated by your co-worker!

Lovely card of encouragement for your co-worker. Love your dragonfly theme done in these pretty colors. (BTW, think they were Barbara's color choices this week, not Karen's) ; )
