Hello! I have to say that I feel MUCH better than I did last week at this time! I am not sure how I managed to upload last week's card, just plain stubborn, I guess. Now, if I can just get rid of the cough I will be golden!
This is my last week as CC Guest Designer and I have had a blast!!! I was sorry I didn't get the chance to comment last week but I will make up for it this week!
Barbara chose the following fabulous color combo for this week's CC571, Wisteria Wonder, Pool Party, Pear Pizzaz.
I decided to create a resist wtih gesso and TH stain. The colors in the photo are a bit brighter than IRL.
I have enjoyed featuring this technique many times but this was the first time I had a MISTI and wow, what a difference! I only had to stamp twice since the red rubber stamp is so finely etched but I would not have been able to reposition the stamp without the MISTI!
This card is going to a relative of a friend who was in a car accident, hit by a drunk driver. So very sad, breaks my heart.
More photos including the inside of the card on My Blog.

Angie, I love the technique you used for your background. The colors look great with that texture and blending. It's been a pleasure having you with us!

Beautiful! Great artists can make you see the beauty in a piece even when the colors are so not the viewer's colors. You have achieved this level of greatness with this gorgeous card. Into my faves!

This is great Angie, it looks quite different for you but I love it!! I love how well the colors did for you, purple and that color green could have been a disaster but you made it look beautiful!! Love it to pieces!
