I was inspired by this image on our inspiration site this week (thank you Audrie and Geni ) - but I went a bit brighter with the gold and green tones: http://totalwallcovering.com/p21022/...er-border.aspx
In my "playing around with backgrounds container", I had saved the green piece that I used to back the butterfly and for the flowers. I'm pretty sure I made it by "smooshing" blue and green distress inks on wc cs, and then spraying with gold color shine spray, and shimmer mist - So glad I kept the panel! Die cut the branch and top layer of the butterfly with a gold cs. Stamped the sentiment, matted with black and gold, and added some enamel dots. I love how it turned out!
Your card is beautiful. I am so glad you like this week's website. I love the green and gold against the white, it looks so clean and fresh. I just bought some gold shimmer spray. I have never used it before but I am anxious to try it. Thanks for playing along.
